ABOUT FERONIX RCCSHIELD

FERONIX RCCSHIELD is a premium 100% solids, solvent-free, two-component Silicone Modified Polyurethane (Si-PU) coating specially developed for long-term chemical protection of Reinforced Cement Concrete (RCC) surfaces. It forms a dense, seamless and impermeable protective barrier with outstanding resistance to strong acids, alkalis, aggressive industrial chemicals and wastewater in direct contact. FERONIX RCCSHIELD is designed to protect RCC floors, walls, tanks, pits, bunds, drains and other concrete structures exposed to severe industrial environments. With excellent adhesion, high mechanical strength and a long service life of approximately 2–3 years, FERONIX RCCSHIELD is an ideal chemical resistant RCC coating, industrial concrete protective coating and heavy-duty Si-PU coating for demanding applications.

How to Apply

Surface Preparation
Surface must be clean, dry and free from dust, oil, grease, loose particles and other contaminants.

Mixing
Mix Part A (Base) and Part B (Hardener) in the ratio 4 : 1 and mix thoroughly.

First Coat
Apply the mixed material uniformly using roller, brush or airless spray.

Recoat
Allow minimum 12 hours recoat interval before applying the second coat.

Curing
Allow 24 hours for hardness and 72 hours for full chemical resistance before service.
